Before ordering your Yoga Inversion Stand, you should have first measured your ceiling to make sure it is high enough for the Yoga Inversion Stand. Since the stand is exactly 93" tall, you should have at least 94 1/2 " to be able to put the stand together standing up. If your ceiling is 94 1/2 " tall, you should have no trouble with the height.

My ceiling is exactly 93" tall in the main part of my house. I didn't want to cut a hole in my ceiling because it is plastered, so I put my Yoga Inversion Stand in my basement. After I took out a ceiling tile in the basement, it measured 94 1/2 inches from top to bottom. It was the perfect height for the stand.

If you have ceiling tile in your basement, you may need to take out a ceiling tile and some of the parts that the ceiling tile was attached to, not the actual stud. This will give you the added room you will need to maneuver the last poles into the stand.

Caution: Do not put the stand together lying on its side. You will not have enough room to bring the whole stand back up to clear the ceiling. The entire stand will be assembled standing up. Also, if you have 8 ft. ceilings in your home, and you don't have plaster, just drywall, you may want to cut a small hole in the ceiling to bring the stand up to put it down into the last row of poles. You can always easily patch it afterwards. If you rent, ask permission before and patch it when you move out.

After you have received your new stand, take everything out of the box and clear the room you will be putting your stand in -

- Take all plastic sheathing off the poles

- Take all end protectors off the poles (put inside the box the stand came in and set aside)

- Set aside all like parts together on the floor

- Set aside all the more curved sections together on the floor (this, along with the 3 T's will provide the circular base for the stand)

- Put together the base first by linking two curved pole sections together, then a T, etc. until the base is a complete circle

- Assemble a vertical curved pole into each T, (3 altogether) making sure you put the right end in so that the steel buttons will pop out of the holes to lock in correctly and it will be curved inward correctly to form the base of the standing part of the Yoga Inversion Stand

- Lock in the second level of 3 poles around the stand making sure they are curving inward like a tripod and they are locking in properly

- Take the top triplex in your hand and lock in one of the last three pole sections, making sure it is curving inward

- Lay the triplex and the one pole attached to it on the floor (the poles should all be curved as shown ( )

- Attach the last two poles to the triplex top curved as shown in previous step

- Pick up the triplex with the three poles attached and locked in and place it at the top of ceiling

- With one hand grip one of the second layer poles which is attached to the first layer of poles that are attached to the round base for the stand

- Lock it in making sure the steel buttons pop out of the holes

- Grip the second pole and maneuver it in and lock it into place

- Lastly, grip the third pole and maneuver it in and lock it into place

Note: You may need someone strong to help you with linking in the last two poles into the triplex

Your entire Yoga Inversion Stand should be standing, completely assembled and ready to attach your Yoga Inversion Swing. If you purchased the trapeze with your stand, you will simply attach it to the loop at the top of the stand. After that you will attach your outer part of your swing to the outer sides and the actual swing, the part you will sit and hang from in the center.

I've never forgotten that bit of counsel and managed to have a respectable career doing what I loved to do: perform on the operatic stage and I've had some wonderful and memorable moments to look back on.
